Preface i: Proud

I am a Brit who has travelled a long and arduous path to get to where I am. My adventures have been sometimes surreal, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heart-wrenching, but I am a survivor and a fighter. I will not let life keep me down. I have been lucky enough to have found love with the gentlest, kindest, most loving man I have ever known. After all I have been through we found each other, fell madly in love and want to spend the rest of our lives together with him making me laugh continually. We share a wicked sense of humour and this is what I hope to bring to my humble attempt at blogging. So sit back and follow the exploits of Cumzi, Jesse and myself as we navigate this manic thing called life and fight our addictions to Wendys, Tim Hortons and chicken parm at Buca di Beppo.
